Can you be Pregnant and Cool? You bet!

Hey Beautiful,

This has always been a little "obsession" of mine, the fact that being Pregnant and being Cool, don't have to go in different trains...!

And by cool, I don't mean being "super fabulous society approved" by cool I mean, feeling gorgeous, stylish and just amazing about your appearance really... Feeling cool about yourself, by no means, cool about anybody else... Especially at this stage of your life when you're growing a miracle :).

Today's video is all about my strategies during pregnancy to feel Cool :)

Feeling trendy, stylish and fabulous should NEVER be an issue when talking about pregnancy! :)

Watch and let me know what you think!

Just because you're pregnant, it doesn't mean that you can't be cool.

What I mean by "being cool," it's that you feel in style, and you feel good and fabulous.

(I love that word).

You deserve to still feel trendy and dress your best!

Today, I wanted to share with you Three things that I've done this pregnancy to feel cool and enjoy this time.

I even created a Pinterest board called Pregnant and Cool, because I do believe that so many women think that once you're pregnant, you are just meant to dress in boring maternity clothes that are only for pregnant women or you're supposed to be dressing in a certain “unstylish” way.

So, I did want to talk about this before I give birth to my baby because the tips that I'm going to share today have made a big difference in my pregnancies (especially in this last one, I seem to be getting better and better at this ;)

Three things that I've done this pregnancy that have made a big (positive) difference in the way I feel.

First: Accepting it & Adapting my wardrobe.

What do I mean by this?

I haven't bought many pregnancy clothes. I only bought a couple of pregnancy jeans, and I actually owned them from my previous pregnancy.

I have bought pieces that were just a couple of sizes bigger or even same size if it was an oversized type of clothing garment, and that's about it.

I did focus on only buying pieces that made me feel cool and amazing.

This was super important for me to feel good and be able to wake up in the morning to inspire other women to dress their best!

Second: This time, I knew I was going to get big.

It's not that the first pregnancy I didn't know it, but I just didn't realise how much that was going to affect me.

Your body transforms at such a fast pace that I find it's hard to assimilate and even harder in the last weeks when you get really big (like I am right now).

Maybe by the time you watch this video, I've already had my baby!

Right now, I'm quite big and having pieces that allow me to accept the process and really embrace it has helped me a lot.

This time around, I know what was happening, and it has definitely made a big difference in the way I feel about my body image.

Third: Exercising.

Oh my goodness, this was a major one. My energy levels were much higher!

But not only that, in terms of body image, again, it made a big difference.

Some people say I look less big than with Tom, (my first pregnancy). Some say, "You look big now." I really don't care...

What I care is how I feel inside, and this pregnancy, just because I was exercising, it's made a huge difference.

Bonus: My ONE thing I always keep as it is…

My big thing to feel COOL while pregnant?

I’ve never cut my hair (more than what I usually do I mean)

Let me explain why:

Before being pregnant for the first time; I used to see so many women cutting their hair in a very awkward (granny almost) style just because they were pregnant and they didn't want to care about their appearance.

Well, I'd rather wear a ponytail than cutting my hair, because my hair, it's my thing.

It's what makes me feel fabulous.

I feel that my long hair is part of my identity.

Identify those clues: What's that one thing that makes you feel YOU; makes you feel amazing and proud. So, you go out there and rock the world in your own version while pregnant and become a fabulous mumma!

By saying all this, I don't want you to think that it's like you're not accepting the new process or it's like you're not embracing it, just because you want to keep your ‘thing”. I think it's totally the opposite.

By being able to acknowledge YOU and what makes you feel good about you, you'll feel at peace, and that's going to help your pregnancy to be much more beautiful!

Yeah, the baby, it's going to perceive those amazing vibes, and that’s beautiful!
It's a win-win situation: about you accepting where you are, the process and making your life blissful.

I hope you enjoy your pregnancy, and I hope you find my tips helpful because they have definitely been a game changer for me.

Maybe you’re pregnant. Maybe you're going to get pregnant. Maybe you don't have any type of intentions of being.

It doesn’t matter.

The beauty of ALL my content is that you can apply it at any stage of your life!

And now it's YOUR TURN,

What's that ONE thing you would like to keep as it is, so you feel uniquely fabulous no matter what stage of your life you are?

I'd love to know!!!! Please share below :)

I'll see you in the next post,

Much love & fabulousness
